Wesley Zaidan’s Talk Event ~Let’s hear from Ms. Chisato Masuda, her journey and work at United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)~ Report
Wesley Zaidan is currently collaborating with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Cambodia office to implement a project aimed at protecting women and girls in Cambodia from gender-based violence.
We welcomed Ms. Chisato Masuda, a Midwifery Programme Analyst currently working at the UNFPA New York Headquarters (formerly with the Cambodia office), as our guest speaker. We organized a talk event for the first time to learn about UNFPA’s extensive activities and Ms. Masuda’s career and life journey.
The talk event took place on Friday, August 25th, in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation, at Wesley Zaidan’s first-floor conference room.
A total of eight participants joined from across the country, utilizing the hybrid format, which included both in-person and online attendance.
Ms. Masuda’s presentation covered various aspects, including why she chose her current career, the challenges and difficulties she has encountered, and words of encouragement for young individuals aspiring to make an impact on the international stage. Following her talk, there was a dedicated Q&A session, allowing for active discussions that incorporated participants’ thoughts and feedback.
