Even though the Wesley Foundation officially changed the name to Wesley Zaidan, it has continued to sponsor programs for women’s empowerment and youth leadership and empowerment. On June 30, 2016, former and present Board of Councilors, Auditors and Board of Directors, as well as those who have supported the Wesley Foundation, were invited to an anniversary celebration at the Wesley Center.

Part of the celebration included the retirement of Prof. Rinya Shibakawa, and recognition of his service as auditor since the beginning.
