Californian Youth Enjoy Tokyo
カリフォルニアの高校生が東京を堪能
昨年福島の子供たちを受け入れてくれたカリフォルニア州から、スタッフと高校生総勢15名が、夏休みを利用して日本を訪れています。
The youth of Wesley United Methodist Church in California who hosted Fukushima Youth last year are now in Japan.
東京では、フランシスカンチャペルのホームレス支援などのサービスワークを経験。
They did some service work in Tokyo including serving for homeless people with members of Franciscan Chapel.
その合間を縫って、寿司やラーメンを堪能し、カップヌードル作りに挑戦したり、浅草の浅草寺を訪れたりと、大変アクティブに動きました。
Though their schedule is fully packed with service work and cultural exchanges, they also enjoy new experiences such as visiting some traditional areas in Tokyo, making cup noodle at a factory and watching fish market.
