カリフォルニアからきた高校生たちは、仙台での奉仕のあと、元気に群馬へ向かいました。
群馬県の敬愛女子高校への訪問は、制服その他、現代の日本文化を知る貴重な経験になりました。
Youth from California headed to Gunma after their service works in Tohoku including the one at Emmaus in Sendai.
In Gunma, they visited a girls school there to exchange. It was a precious experience of high school life in Japan. Students are in uniforms with standardized school bags.
さらにその後、広島、奈良、京都を訪れ、いにしえの日本文化を堪能し、元気に母国へ戻っていきました。
自分たちのルーツのある日本。日系人の高校生たちの目にはどのように映ったでしょうか。
After a short stay in Gunma, they took Shinkansen bullet train down to Kyoto, Hiroshima and Nara, traditional area of Japan. They enjoyed good old Japan and atomic bomb exhibitions.
