紛争解決をはじめとする平和関係の問題について長く教鞭をとる。また、武力紛争予防のためのグローバルパートナーシップにおける 国際平和教育研究集会を中心に国内外の平和研究者と連携。現在ははハーグ平和アピール、平和教育グローバルキャンペーン等平和団体の役員を務める。
Dr. Matsui has taught courses on conflict transformation and peace related subjects. She works with peace researchers and educators internationally in the International Institute on Peace Education and the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict. She is currently an advisory board member for the Hague Appeal for Peace, the Global Campaign for Peace Education, and Board Chair of Oxfam International, Japan.

メリ・ジョイス　Meri Joyce

オーストラリア出身のジョイスさんは、ピースボートのインターナショナルコーディネーターとそして活躍。現在は、武力紛争予防のためのグローバルパートナーシップの東北アジア地域事務局長でもある。また、NAPRIの運営委員会メンバーとしても活動中。
Since 2005 she has been International Coordinator of Japan-based international organisation Peace Boat. Peace Boat is the Regional Secretariat for the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) in Northeast Asia, and Meri is Regional Liaison Officer for GPPAC in the region. She also sits on the Steering Committee for the Northeast Asia Regional Peacebuilding Institute (NARPI).
